Do I need to purchase both the Mac and Windows versions of your software?
No. Our CD-ROM will run on both Windows and Mac Computers.
Do I need to install MathCreator in order to use it?
No. MathCreator can run directly off of the CD, so you don't have to install it before you can use it. This is great if you are in a situation where you classroom computers are locked down tigether than Fort Knox! Think of MathCreator as containing an infinite amount of worksheet, quizzes and timed test books on a CD that you can customize and print as you need them.
Can I install MathCreator on one computer and use the CD on a another?
Yes. We've created a license that allows you to install MathCreator on one computer (e.g. your home computer), and use the CD at on another computer (e.g. your classroom computer). Our license is meant to be as flexible as possible.
What grade(s) does MathCreator Support?
MathCreator is appropriate for any grade level that is currently studying or reviewing Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division. MathCreator even allows you to use decimals and currencies for all problem types.
How many worksheets, quizzes, and timed tests are on the CD?
There are no worksheets contained on the CD. You are creating the them. Therefore there is an unlimited amount of worksheets, quizzes, and timed tests available. You should rest assured that you'll be able to always provide a fresh worksheet or quiz for your students.
Can I make copies of the worksheets I make with MathCreator?
Yes, you may copy and distribute copies of the worksheets you create to your classroom. This is great for take home packets..etc.
Can I customize the worksheet directions?
Yes. There is a sample set of directions on the each sheet you create. However, all you have to do is simpley replace the default instructions by selecting it with your mouse and type the directions you want to use.
Can I create a worksheet that focuses on two different problem types?
Yes. MathCreator enables you to create a "Split" Worksheet. A Split Worksheet can contain two different problem types and formats. You can give it a try at our online demo.
How many problems are on a worksheet or timed test?
A worksheet can have as few as 5 and as many as 25 problems, a split worksheet can have up to 20 problems (10 per section) per sheet. A timed test can have up to 100 problems per sheet.
