1. Starting the Application:

 

Insert disc into your disc tray.  The disc is equipped with auto-run technology, however if the disc does not automatically start, you can simply navigate to your disc drive *(on Windows typically known as “D:” drive), right-click the disc icon and select “explore contents” to locate the application at which point you can double-click and run the application.

 

*On Mac machines you can simply ctrl + click to explore the contents to the disc and run the application.

 

 

Minimum System Requirements:

- Windows 2000/XP/Vista, Mac OSX

- CPU 500Mhz

- 64MB RAM

- 8x CD-ROM

 

 

 

 

2. Install / Uninstall:

 

Installation is not required for the application to run.  However, if you would like to install/uninstall the application on your computer simply select “Install Options” from the application file menu.  This will run the install management application.

 

*For questions pertaining to the software licensing please refer to the End User License Agreement located both on this disc and within this document.

 

 

 

 

3. Navigation:

 

Moving Between Worksheets:
This application utilizes, for your convenience, tab-navigation, which allows you to select between worksheet types.  The tabs allow you to navigate between tabs without losing your progress.

 

 

Working Within a Worksheet:

Within each tab you will be presented with a series of setting that will determine the layout of your worksheet.  At the bottom of each screen are the forward and back buttons which enable you to progress to the next/previous setting.

 

 

Quitting the Application:

You may quit the application at anytime; a persistent quit button is located in the bottom right corner of the application.

 

 

 

4. Creating an Addition Worksheet

 

These steps will guide you through creating an Addition worksheet with 25 problems.

 

1. Select the Computations tab.

 

2. Select New Document, and then choose the layout. For our purposes let’s choose Full Page.

  

3. Select the number of problems. Let’s choose 25 from the first drop down menu on the left.

 

4. Next choose Addition as the problem type and click on the vertical addition button to the right.

  

5. There are two ways to select numbers for our practice page:         

         1. Place Value – input the length of digits for each numeral

         2. Range Control – select a maximum and minimum value for each numeral

For our purposes let’s choose Range Control.

  

*With Range Control selected our problems will require students to use regrouping to solve.

 

*The default numeral type is “integer”. If you would like to use decimals feel free to select one from the drop down menu.

 

6. We're almost finished! Click Continue and preview the practice page, if it doesn't exactly meet your needs try clicking Regenerate to get a new set of problems, or go back a step and make adjustments to the parameters. You may also modify the student directions by simply highlighting the page’s title and entering new directions.

  

7. You may choose to add artwork to your page by using the drop down menu located above the preview window.

  

9. Now click the Print button and select the number of copies you would like. Then turn the answers on to create a key for yourself and click print again.

  

10. We are finished with your first customized worksheet! You may save documents created in this Computations Tab.

5. Creating a Column Addition Worksheet

 

 These steps will guide you through creating a Column Addition worksheet with 25 problems.

 

1. Select the Computations Tab

 

2. Select New Document, and then choose the layout. For our purposes let’s choose Full Page.

  

3. Select the number of problems. Let’s choose 25 from the first drop down menu on the left.

 

4. Next choose Addition as the problem and click on the 4 number column addition button to the right.

  

5. Using the Place Value controls, select numbers for our practice page by choosing the length of the digits for each numeral.

 

* The default numeral type is “integer”. If you would like to use a decimal feel free to select one from the list.

  

6. We're almost finished! Preview the practice page, if it doesn't exactly meet your needs try clicking Regenerate to get a new set of problems, or go back a step and make adjustments to the parameters. You may also modify the student directions by simply highlighting the page’s title and entering new directions.

  

7. You may choose to add artwork to your page by using the drop down menu located above the preview window.

  

8. Now click the Print button and select the number of copies you would like. Then turn the answers on to create a key for yourself and click print again.

6. Creating a Subtraction Worksheet

 

These steps will guide you through creating a Subtraction worksheet with 25 problems.

 

1. Select the Computations Tab.

 

2. Select New Document, and then choose the layout. For our purposes let’s choose Full Page.

  

3. Select the number of problems. Let’s choose 25 from the first drop down menu on the left.

 

4. Next choose Subtraction as the problem type and click on the vertical subtraction button to the right.

  

5. There are two ways to select numbers for our practice page:         

         1. Place Value – input the length of digits for each numeral

         2. Range Control – select a maximum and minimum value for each numeral

For our purposes let’s choose Place Value.

  

6. We are creating a subtraction page and can select to control whether or not our problems will require students to use regrouping. Let’s choose Regrouping Off.

  

* The default numeral type is “integer”. If you would like to use a decimal feel free to select one from the list.

 

7. We're almost finished! Click Continue and preview the practice page, if it doesn't exactly meet your needs try clicking Regenerate to get a new set of problems, or go back a step and make adjustments to the parameters. You may also modify the student directions by simply highlighting the page’s title and entering new directions.

  

8. You may choose to add artwork to your page by using the drop down menu located above the preview window.

7. Creating a Multiplication Worksheet

 

These steps will guide you through creating a Multiplication worksheet with 25 problems.

 

1. Select the Computations Tab.

 

2. Select New Document, and then choose the layout. For our purposes let’s choose Full Page.

  

3. Select the number of problems. Let’s choose 25 from the first drop down menu on the left.

 

4. Next choose Multiplication as the problem type and click on the horizontal multiplication button to the right.

  

5. There are two ways to select numbers for our practice page:         

         1. Place Value – input the length of digits for each numeral

         2. Range Control – select a maximum and minimum value for each numeral

For our purposes let’s choose Range Control.

  

*With Range Control selected our problems will automatically require students to use regrouping when solving.

 

* The default numeral type is “integer”. If you would like to use a decimal feel free to select one from the list.

8. Creating a Division Worksheet

 

These steps will help guide you through creating a Division worksheet with 25 problems.

 

1. Select the Computations Tab.

 

2. Select New Document, and then choose the layout. For our purposes let’s choose Full Page.

  

3. Select the number of problems. Let’s choose 25 from the first drop down menu on the left.

 

4. Next choose Division as the problem type we and click on the long division button to the right.

  

5. There are two ways to select numbers for our practice page:         

         1. Place Value – input the length of digits for each numeral

         2. Range Control – select a maximum and minimum value for each numeral

For our purposes let’s choose Place Value.

 

* The default numeral type is “integer”. If you would like to use a decimal feel free to select one from the list.

 

6. With division you can specify the format in which your answer will be displayed. Let’s choose Remainder from the drop down on the left.

 

7. We're almost finished! Click Continue and preview the practice page, if it doesn't exactly meet your needs try clicking Regenerate to get a new set of problems, or go back a step and make adjustments to the parameters. You may also modify the student directions by simply highlighting the page’s title and entering new directions.

  

8. You may choose to add artwork to your page by using the drop down menu located above the preview window.

  

9. Now click the Print button and select the number of copies you would like. Then turn the answers on to create a key for yourself and click print again.

9. Creating a Greater Than/Less Than Quicksheet

 

These steps will guide you through creating a Greater Than/Less Than worksheet with 30 problems.

 

1. Select the Comparing/Ordering tab.

 

2. On the left side of the screen choose Greater Than/Less Than from the drop down menu.

  

3. Next select the number of problems, let’s choose 30 from the drop down menu.

 

4. On the right side of the screen, use the place value controls to determine the length of digits for the numerals to be created. 

 

* The default numeral type is “integer”. If you would like to use a decimal feel free to select one from the list.

 

5. Click Continue.

     

6. Your Greater Than/Less Than Quicksheet has been created.  Now, if you like, you may choose to add artwork to your page by using the drop down menu located above the preview window.  You may also modify the student directions by simply highlighting the page’s title and entering new directions.

 

7. Now click the Print button and select the number of copies you would like.

 

*Please note that answer keys are not provided within this Comparing/Ordering tab.

  

8. We are finished with your Greater Than/Less Than Quicksheet!

 

 

 

 

10. Creating an Ordering Quicksheet

 

These steps will help guide you through creating an Ordering Quicksheet with 30 problems.

 

1. Select the Comparing/Ordering tab.

 

2. On the left side of the screen choose Ordering from the quicksheet drop down menu.

  

3. Next select the number of problems. Let’s choose 30 from the drop down menu.

 

4. On the right side of the screen, you can enter the amount of numbers for the set (maximum of 5).  Let’s enter 3.

 

5. We’re almost finished!  Next, use the place value control to determine the maximum length of digits for the numerals to be created.

 

  * The default numeral type is “integer”. If you would like to use a decimal feel free to select one from the list.

 

*Please note that creating large numbers within a large set may cause the problems to run into one another.

 

6. Click Continue.

     

7. Your Ordering Quicksheet has been created.  Now, if you like, you may choose to add artwork to your page by using the drop down menu located above the preview window. You may also modify the student directions by simply highlighting the page’s title and entering new directions.

  

8. Now click the Print button and select the number of copies you would like.

 

*Please note that answer keys are not provided within this Comparing/Ordering tab.

  

9. We are finished with your Ordering Quicksheet!

 

 

 

 

11. Creating a Find Place Value Quicksheet

 

These steps will help guide you through creating a Find Place Value Quicksheet with 30 problems.

 

1. Select the Comparing/Ordering tab.

 

2. On the left side of the screen choose Find Place Value from the quicksheet drop down menu.

  

3. Next select the number of problems, let’s choose 30 from the drop down menu.

 

4. We’re almost finished!  On the right side of the screen, use the place value control to determine the length of digits for the numerals to be created. 

 

* The default numeral type is “integer”. If you would like to use a decimal feel free to select one from the list

 

5. Click Continue.

     

6. Your Find Place Value Quicksheet has been created.  Now, if you like, you may choose to add artwork to your page by using the drop down menu located above the preview window.  You may also modify the student directions by simply highlighting the page’s title and entering new directions.

  

7. Now click the Print button and select the number of copies you would like.

12. Creating an Expanded Form Quicksheet

 

These steps will help guide you through creating an Expanded Form Quicksheet with 30 problems.

 

1. Select the Comparing/Ordering tab.

 

2. On the left side of the screen choose Expanded Form from the quicksheet drop down menu.

  

3. Next select the number of problems, let’s choose 30 from the drop down menu.

 

4. We’re almost finished!  On the right side of the screen, use the place value control to determine the length of digits for the numerals to be created.

 

* The default numeral type is “integer”. If you would like to use a decimal feel free to select one from the list

 

5. Click Continue.

     

6. Your Expanded Form Quicksheet has been created.  Now, if you like, you may choose to add artwork to your page by using the drop down menu located above the preview window. You may also modify the student directions by simply highlighting the page’s title and entering new directions.

  

7. Now click the Print button and select the number of copies you would like.

13. Creating a Rounding Quicksheet

 

These steps will help guide you through creating a Rounding Quicksheet with 30 problems.

 

1. Select the Comparing/Ordering tab.

 

2. On the left side of the screen choose Rounding from the first drop down menu.

  

3. Next select the number of problems, let’s choose 30 from the drop down menu.

 

4. We’re almost finished!  On the right side of the screen, use the place value control to choose the length of digits for the numeral to be created. 

 

* The default numeral type is “integer”. If you would like to use a decimal feel free to select one from the list.

 

5. Click Continue.

     

6. Your Rounding Quicksheet has been created.  Now, if you like, you may choose to add artwork to your page by using the drop down menu located above the preview window.  You may also modify the student directions by simply highlighting the page’s title and entering new directions.

  

7. Now click the Print button and select the number of copies you would like.

14. Creating a Non-Mixed Timed Test

 

These steps will help guide you through creating a Timed Test with 50 problems.

 

1. Select the Timed Tests tab.

 

2. On the left side of the screen choose Addition from the problem type drop down menu.

  

3. Next select the number of problems, let’s choose 50 from the first drop down menu.

 

4. We’re almost finished!  On the right side of the screen, choose the addend you would like to use from the drop down menu, and select the problems’ orientation.

 

5. Click Continue.

     

6. Your timed test has been created.  Now, if you like, you may choose to add artwork to your page by using the drop down menu located above the preview window.  You may also modify the student directions by simply highlighting the page’s title and entering new directions.

 

7. Now click the Print button and select the number of copies you would like. Then turn the answers on to create a key for yourself and click print again.

  

8. We are finished with your timed test worksheet!

 

 

 

 

15. Creating a Mixed Review Timed Test

 

These steps will help guide you through creating a Mixed Timed Test with 50 problems.

 

1. Select the Timed Tests tab.

 

2. On the left side of the screen choose Addition from the problem type drop down menu.

  

3. Next select the number of problems, let’s choose 50 from the first drop down menu.

 

4. We’re almost finished!  On the right side of the screen, choose the addend you would like to use from the drop down menu, and the problems’ orientation.

  

5. Finally, select Use Mixed Addends. This will mix all addends less than and including the one you selected in the previous step.  

 

6. Click Continue.

     

7. Your timed test has been created.  Now, if you like, you may choose to add artwork to your page by using the drop down menu located above the preview window.  You may also modify the student directions by simply highlighting the page’s title and entering new directions.

  

8. Now click the Print button and select the number of copies you would like. Turn the answers on to create a key for yourself and click print again.

  

9. We are finished with your timed test worksheet!

 

 

 

 

16. Creating an Instructional Aid

 

These steps will help guide you through creating an Instruction Aid.

 

1. Select the Instruction Aids tab.

 

2. Simply select which instructional aid you would like by using the instruction aid drown down menu located just beneath the preview window. 

  

3. Now click the Print button and select the number of copies you would like.

 

4. We are finished with your Instruction Aid!

 

 

 

17. End User License Agreement

1. We grant you one license to install and use this software on a single computer at a time. If you do not agree to the following terms of this license, please uninstall and remove all copies and return the product to the place that you purchased it from within 30 days of your purchase for a full refund.

2. You may install and use the software on another computer, but the software may not be in use on more than one computer at a time unless you purchase additional licenses. You may make back-up copies of the software for archival purposes. You may permanently transfer your license to use the software to another party who will be bound by this agreement, provided you do not retain any copies of the software.

3. The software is protected by the copyright laws of the U.S. and other countries, and we retain all intellectual property rights in the software. You may not separately publish, sell, market, distribute, lend, lease, rent, or sublicense the software code.

LIMITED WARRANTY

4. We warrant that the software will provide the features and functions generally described in the product specification on our website when you purchased it and in the product documentation. Media on which the Software is furnished, if any, will be free from defects in materials and workmanship.

5. We have taken all reasonable steps to keep the software free of viruses, spyware, "back door" entrances, or any other harmful code. We will not track or collect any information about you, your data, or your use of the software except as you specifically authorize. The software will not download or install patches, upgrades, or any third party software without getting your permission. We will not intentionally deprive you of your ability to use any features of the software or access to your data.

6. We do not warrant that the software or your ability to use it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

LIMITATIONS ON LIABILITY

7. Your exclusive remedy under the above limited warranty shall be, at our option, either a full refund of the purchase price or correction of the defective software or media. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all liability for indirect or consequential damages that arise under this license agreement. Nothing in this agreement limits our liability to you in the event of death or personal injury resulting from gross negligence, fraud, or knowing misrepresentation on our part.

GENERAL PROVISIONS

8. If any part of this agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms will stay in effect. This agreement does not prejudice the statutory rights of any party dealing as a consumer.

9. This agreement will be governed by the laws of The United Sates of America, including Article 2 of the Uniform Commercial Code, of the state in which we are headquartered. If that state has enacted the Uniform Computer Information Transactions Act (UCITA) or substantially similar law, said statute shall not govern any aspect of this agreement and instead the law as it existed prior to such enactment shall govern.

10. This agreement does not supersede any express warranties we made to you. Any modification to this agreement must be agreed to in writing by both parties.
